Rapper T.I. (born Clifford Harris Jr.) is headed back to jail early next year to finish serving his jail sentence.The “Whatever You Like” hit-maker was arrested on felony gun charges a year ago and has lost millions of dollars in income because of it.According to MTV, T.I. says he isn’t going out without a fight and plans to be as pro-active as possible while incarcerated.“I ain’t gonna be sitting still doing nothing,” the rapper told MTV. “All those days will be spent speaking to people who are interested in being in the T.I. business... It’s just months of planning. It’s just a long time to roll the project out. The wheels will be turning; just the car ain’t going nowhere.”As far as his album goes, Paper Trail – T.I.’s sixth studio album – is certified platinum.Paper Trail sold 568,000 copies in its first week and debuted No. 1 on the Billboard 200.The album has received positive reviews from critics and has been nominated for a Grammy award.

Suge "A Real O.G."

Two felony drug charges and one misdemeanor assault charge against Marion “Suge” Knight were dismissed by a Las Vegas judge.

Prosecutors accused Knight, 43, of assaulting a female acquaintance named Melissa Isaac, on August 27, during a heated argument.

Knight was accused of striking Isaac, who was allegedly found by LVPD officers naked on the side of the road, as Knight stood over her with a knife.

The drug charges stemmed from allegations Knight was also in possession of ecstasy and hyrdocodone.

TMZ.com reports that Knight’s lawyers David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld were successful in getting all of the charges dismissed due to "lack of production in discovery and the failure of witnesses to be subpoenaed."

"God is good, and I've got the best two lawyers in America. Happy holidays," Knight said after learning the news.

The prosecution will now take the case to a grand jury.

Kiss in Gillie Out(i sound dirty)

While Beanie Sigel’s one time rival Gillie Da Kid recently backed out of an upcoming “Brotherly Love Concert” due to schedule concerns, the Broad Street bully has landed another former nemesis to headline the concert.

The Lox’s Jadakiss will join Sigel and other Philadelphia rappers on stage during the concert, which is being presented by Sigel and Nike ACG.

Sigel and Jadakiss engaged in an infamous feud that started after Jadakiss accused Philadelphia rappers of stealing his style in published interviews in 2001.

Jadakiss, who claimed his words were misquoted, was still on the receiving end of a mixtape diss from Sigel.

As a result, both sides released diss records aptly titled "F**k Beanie Sigel" by Jadakiss and "F**k Jadakiss" by Beanie Sigel.

After numerous radio, mixtape and disses on albums, the beef between Sigel along with State Property versus Jadakiss and D-Block teetered on the edge of violence.

The climax came when Jadakiss appeared at a concert in Philadelphia and berated Sigel in his hometown.

Around this time, Jadakiss’ battle with 50 Cent and G-Unit, as well as a host of legal problems for Sigel helped cool the beef.

The pair eventually patched up their relationship and even recorded the “Roc Boys” remix with Roc-A-Fella boss Jay-Z.

Sigel’s “Brotherly Love Concert” is his latest attempt to end old beefs and promote unity in Philadelphia, a city known for its in-fighting amongst various rappers.

Gillie Da Kid was unable to keep a commitment to the concert because he is shooting The King of the Avenue with actor Ving Rhames in Puerto Rico.

Other performers confirmed to take the stage include Freeway, E-Ness, and local artist Reed Dollas, Joey Jahad, and Voka.

The free concert begins tonight (December 11) at 6:00 pm at the TLA on South Street in Philadelphia.

As noted, this event goes on yearly, with The National Lighthouse Foundation linking up with celebrities or artists from the community to make sure that children can have gifts for the holidays. The National Lighthouse Foundation is a non-profit organization built on the vision that the nation's children need to be assisted in different ways. Their mission statement explains more.

Chiba-whas new

The competition is getting stiff. With four ladies left in the house tensions rise as the girls continue their quest for $100,000 and the title of Miss Rap Supreme. With only a few days left in the house, Chiba decides it’s time to end the feud between herself and Byata. But while in friendly conversation, Chiba let’s the cat out of the bag and admits to using pre-written rhymes in competition, leading to yet more controversy within the house.

After all of the girls except Chiba stumble during their challenge of creating a verse about “peace” for young girls who were once involved in gang violence, questions arise about Chiba’s use of recycled lyrics. Byata, convinced that Chiba’s cheating, tells judges her concerns which are “duly noted” by Serch and Yo-Yo. However, because the freshness of Chiba’s verse could neither be denied nor confirmed she was still labeled the winner of the challenge and given the keys to the ‘Salt-N-Pepa Suite’. Because the competition is down to the final wire, however, she was not given immunity from elimination. This new development proved to be fatal to Chiba; when the girls were given the elimination freestyle topic of the word “Bitch,” Chiba strayed from the subject matter and was ultimately told to “Step off!”

This week, HipHopDX spoke with the Georgia femcee to get the real scoop on whether or not she cheated in competition, her beef with Byata, working with on The Juice Crew movie., and the near fatal car crash that forced her to now keep her left eye covered.

HipHopDX: How long have you been rapping for?
Chiba: Oh, I’ve been rapping since about 200 or 2001. After my car accident I really got into writing music just to express everything that I was going through at that particular time. I just thought about a lot of things because after the car accident I couldn’t go outside for about a year. So I started thinking about my talents that I wanted to bring out.

DX: Can you tell us a little more about that fateful day of the car-crash?
C: I went out with a couple of people I didn’t really know too well. Something was put in my drink and the guy was trying to take me to wherever he was trying to take me to, and he crashed into a utility pole and I went through the window. So now I have to wear sunglasses because I can’t close my left eye. It doesn’t close completely and it’s very sensitive to light. And also stuff gets into the eye and irritates it because I can’t blink. So people always think [I cover my eye with sunglasses or my hair] because I’m trying to hide my scar, but it’s not that; I’m protecting the vision that I have left in my eye. If I don’t wear glasses stuff is constantly getting in my eye.

DX: I read on your MySpace that you’re working on your own label and publishing company called Jerzey Peach Records. Can you speak that project?
C: Yeah, that’s basically something that’s gonna happen once I get myself situated. I have to build things up so I can work on that. But right now I’m just trying to get signed with a big label so that later on I can be established enough to start Jerzey Peach Records.

DX: Ok. Well moving on to the show, what do you think was the beginning of the end for you and Byata?
C: I think it was when I won the first challenge.

DX: So you think it was a jealousy thing?
C: Oh yeah. Definitely. Plus, she let other [contestants] come in and change the bond that we had. Reece, for instance, she saw how close me and Byata were getting, and she didn’t like that so she wanted to break it up. I was really hurt by that because I really had strong feelings for Byata; we connected more than any other girls on the show. And it hurt me that she let someone else come in and take that.

DX: On the show, you had a conversation with your daughter back home. Was she the only reason you wanted to make amends with Byata or had you thought about it before?
C: It’s something I thought about on my own, but once I spoke with my daughter it really [affected me].

DX: Later on while you were talking to Byata and Reece you admitted to using pre-written rhymes. Do you think that was fair, especially since Khia got kicked off for the same thing earlier in the competition?
C: Yea but Khia [click to read] used verses from records she sold. In our contract it said we could use whatever we had as long as it hadn’t been sold or copy written. So when we were doing certain challenges other than elimination, I did have something that was already written and the producer’s had no problem with that. And if that was the case then they woulda been kicked me off of the show.

DX: Do you think any of the other girls were using pre-written rhymes?
C: Of course they did! They just wasn’t woman enough to admit it! And once I did admit it Cherry was like, “I didn’t know we could use stuff we already had!”…well, y'all didn’t read your contracts! The producers said “Chiba, there’s $100,000 on the line. If you got something that’s hot and fits the topic; use it.” The only time you couldn’t use something you already wrote was for elimination freestyles. That’s what Khia did, she used somethin’ that she had already sold records to for elimination.

Charlie Is Back

Philadelphia native Charli Baltimore has become a recognizable name, face and voice in Hip Hop over the last decade, despite never releasing an album. Originally signed to Lance "Un" Rivera's Untertainment along with Cam'ron in the late '90s through her romantic affiliation with Notorious B.I.G., the rapper had a star-studded, highly-promoted Cold As Ice album in 1999, which was never released.

After four years away from Hip Hop, Baltimore reappeared in 2002, this time with Murder Inc. Records. There, she worked with Irv Gotti, Ja Rule and Lloyd on several songs, but never released an album. Following this, she had a brief stint with The Game's Black Wall Street Records, before independently venturing into the studio with producer Scott Storch.

In a recent interview with Sub Zero DVD, the rapper was filmed working in Murder Inc. Studios. Asked if she was re-signing to the controversial imprint, Baltimore said, "We workin', we doin' some things. Obviously, you see that I'm here, so it's all good. We're definitely working. We're gonna keep it a lil' controversial for right now; I don't want to give too much away."

Charli Baltimore has spent recent years handling the career of her daughter India, who is part of Ford Modeling, and will be appearing in an upcoming Abercrombie & Fitch campaign.

With her new single "Lose It" having touched airwaves in her hometown, the rapper hopes that the Scott Storch-produced song will be considered by radio.

Plies In 1o Million Dollars Lawsuit

Rapper Plies, born Algernod Washington, is one of several defendants in a lawsuit filed by five attendees at a 2006 Plies show.

The five plaintiffs were injured during a shooting at the show, and are seeking $10 million in damages.

"If they're suing Mr. Washington, they're suing the wrong person," said attorney Robert Rush to the Gainesville Sun. "He does not have legal liability. It is not an entertainer's job to provide security for a club where the entertainer is performing."

Plies' record label, Slip-N-Slide, and 283 West, the venue where Plies performed that night, are also named in the suit. The suit alleges negligence on the part of the defendants. Reports indicate that members of Plies' entourage - the rapper's brother, Ronell Lavatte, and Tory Carnegie - fired into a sold-out crowd after Plies' microphone was cut off, in order to let Lil' Boosie on stage.

Lavatte and Carnegie were accused of firing at least three rounds and were charged with attempted murder. Police found five loaded firearms and rounds of ammunition in their vehicle.

Set Still Strong

HipHopDX spoke with 40 Cal yesterday and the Harlem member of Dipset sounded off on Prodigy’s infamous remarks, rumors on Dipset’s disbandment, the blues influence on hip-hop and more. This all comes on the eve of 40 Cal’s CD/DVD combination, The Yellow Tape, being released on April 1st.

40 Cal on Prodigy’s remarks insulting Cam’ron and Jim Jones, “Prodigy’s remarks? No, I heard about it, but it went on deaf ears kind of. It wasn’t even enough for nobody to start talking about. He said what he said but I don’t know, no one really paid attention. When I say something everybody hears it. I don’t know what he was doing, he just dropped a bunch of names, and was talking shit before he went to jail. I mean I find it ironic that he did that right before he went in.”

40 Cal on recent rumors of trouble within Dipset’s ranks, “We are doing ok, but it is not the same. It used to be a little tighter. At the end of the day we all love Dip Set, its like nothing changed. It’s just that everybody wants to do more solo things, as a group you always want to do your own projects. We’re like a super group. Look at any other group or crew they ain’t do it like us. I mean, look at the Jackson 5, you could talk about Michael’s and Janet’s albums and that’s about it. I mean some people could talk about Tito and Randy. With Wu-Tang it’s even like that, but us we are all real. Truthfully, I’m the newest member, you know, of the original Dipset, but my name is still relevant and still resonates. Everything is everything, and everybody is still yelling Dipset.”

40 Cal also addressed his upcoming projects, and what to expect, “Well, I’m coming out a few months after The Yellow Tape with an album. I mean, I might be arguably the most consistent dude in the game. I got another project after that, I mean not to mention all my fellow cohorts albums, with the label, bla bla bla, I got crazy stuff coming out. Tha Bo$$ Is Next

Last year, 50 Cent didn't have the year he thought he should have had. He wasn't alone in thinking that. Many fans also believed 2007 wasn't quite the best year for Fif. Some even went so far as to say he may have been falling off. Now, 50 admits there were errors made, but he mainly puts the blame on the label. According to new reports, 50 is stating that the label heads, including Eminem, asked Fif not to release too many mixtapes citing that the tapes would take away from his official album record sales.

"They think I'm crazy," 50 told MTV about Eminem and label heads. "Sometimes [Em] misses why I put it out. He goes, 'Why did you put it out?' But I can't be as hot as I'm gonna be if I don't play around. I gotta spar before I go fight the champ. That's my concept of it. If I don't go out and make material and lock in, I'm not gonna make the best possible material for the next [official] project."

Aside from mixtapes and albums, 50 has also been working on beef. Recently, he and Fat Joe were in the midst of a war of words and photos. Now, he is going against rumors that claim he created a photoshopped picture of Joe's wife.

"The Hip-Hop Weekly [a fake cover] came out, and it was a thing with [Benzino] supposed to be [sleeping] with Fat Joe's wife. I didn't make that. I didn't have anyone [Photoshop] that. Why would you do that? I work for Hip-Hop Weekly? They'll know that there are issues between me and Joe, so when he approaches them, they'll say, 'Nah, it must be 50. You know how 50 is.' But I didn't care, 'cause I don't like Joe neither. It doesn't matter to me that they did it, but it didn't come from me."

Now, 50 is throwing warning shots at another MC, Rick Ross.

"Rick Ross is doing good. I also complimented him that he had the #1 album. I said, 'Just don't stand too close to this fat piece of ...' I'm saying that because of what [Joe's] trying to do. He runs to Miami and hangs out with them like he's running Miami? Does Fat Joe run Miami? I don't think Fat Joe runs Miami. I think people from Miami would be upset you're even questioning that. The fact he can influence DJ Khaled on the radio, does that mean Fat Joe runs Miami? ... I don't care if [Khaled] ever plays my records. He's not important enough to what I'm doing for it to matter. Not to say Miami doesn't count. He doesn't count for it to matter to me."

G-Unit's next LP, Lock and Load is scheduled to drop in the Summer. Before I Self Destruct, 50's new album is set to hit shelves late in 08.

Alwayz Dip set

In an exclusive interview from the new Sub-0 DVD, Jim Jones speaks on the current status of The Diplomats and claims his Sony deal may be the last big deal an artist will ever see.

With the continued questioning on the status of his relationship with Cam’ron, Jones cleared the doubts and gave his opinion on his long-time business associate and friend.

“Shout-outs to Cam. Killa, where you at? Cam took a hiatus, you know, sometimes the music puts a strain on you. He’s a wealthy dude, man. I seen him Christmas Eve,” Jones said.

Despite rumors of the Diplomats breaking apart and no longer together, Jones also clarified the speculations. “It’s always Dipset. We all got our own ventures that we’re doing—that we become bosses of. But Diplomat is the bird that flies high. For the most part, it’s always Diplomat. That’s what got us here. That’s the umbrella,” he confirmed.

In early October 2007, the Harlem rapper signed a multi-million dollar deal with Sony Records. Jones claims that the signing would have a greater value than past monumental deals and may be the last great one for all artists. “I did a venture with Sony that is probably better than the venture Dame [Dash] had when they did Roc-A-Fella. Nobody won’t probably get a chance to get any more deals like that in the crisis that the music [business] is in,” Jones said.

Polow Robed

Polow Da Don has confirmed with AllHipHop.com that he was the victim of an attempted robbery inside of his Atlanta recording studio last night (March 10).

While Polow did not reveal the nature of the robbery, sources stated that an unknown group of unknown masked gunmen entered the recording studio and robbed those present of their money and jewelry.

"They thought they came to rob me, but I have heart and I have God shawty," Polow Da Don told AllHipHop.com in a statement. "These crack head a** ni***s I guess called themselves robbing me, but we robbed them…I wasn't scared I was mad. I was likes "these dumb a** weak ass n****s."

Polow Da Don, who runs the Zone 4 imprint and production company, frequently collaborates with Timbaland and bills himself "The King of the White Girls."

He has created hits for artists like Ludacris, Fergie, The Pussycat Dolls, Snoop Dogg, Rich Boy, Ciara, Young Buck and numerous others.

No one was injured during the attempted robbery, which Polow blamed on morally bankrupt individuals.

"You gone have to shoot me because until then, I dont believe you. I am a man…and nine times out of ten a n***a calling himself a ‘robba‘, a ‘thug’ or a ‘gangsta’ is a cover up for being too weak (weather it be physically, spiritually or mentally) to be a man. It's hard to learn how to be a man…luckily my teacher stuck with me....thanks Dad, I love you! Kids…do you know where your father is right now?"

No Santana No!!!!

Diplomats rapper Juelz Santana was reported arrested by The New York Daily News. According to the story, the rapper was entering his Glenpoint gated community in Teaneck, New Jersey, when a police officer smelled marijuana coming from Santana's Bentley.

Upon the stop, the 25 year-old Harlem-born rapper was found in the possession of several rolled blunts, a sandwich bag of marijuana and a sock filled with approximately 29 hollow-tipped bullets. Although Santana's present-whereabouts are unknown, he was detained, as was his vehicle taken, for being driven on a suspended license.

At the time of this incident, Juelz Santana had been recording his third album, reportedly called Born To Lose, Built To Win (The Reagan Era) for Diplomats/Def Jam Records. Last week, reports surface [click here...] that the Harlem, New York-based Diplomats might be disbanding due to ongoing disagreements with stars Cam'ron and Jim Jones. Amidst the recent talk, Santana, who has found the most consistent success in his two releases, has remained quiet.

DJ Whoo Kid Retirin'

G-Unit’s highly acclaimed DJ Whoo Kid has prepared his retirement from the mixtape business and the world of hip-hop.

The Queens native expressed his intentions and the shady actions behind the music industry, specifically in the realm of hip-hop.

“I can’t take it anymore. Hip-hop is a violent, ruthless business. When you’re popping, they have ways of deading you. I just want to be the one to dead my career,” Whoo Kid said to Baller Status.

He also explained the amount of work needed for the industry and his appearance as factors to his retirement.

“It’s a lot of work. I can’t do it. I’m very tired [and] I’m not trying to be an old DJ wearing a chain with a tight shirt,” Whoo Kid said.

To further illustrate the seriousness of his retirement, Whoo Kid explained his plan to leave the U.S.

“I’m moving to Thailand. I already got everything planned. I got a house in Hawaii and I’m moving to Thailand,” he said.

Although he will be releasing the second volume of G-Unit’s ThisIs50.com series, "The Elephant in the Sand," Whoo Kid has maintained that he does not have plans on furthering his mixtapes.

Despite the withdrawal from mixtape outlet, he will continue business ventures with an emphasis on television, radio, and marketing through his Shadyville Entertainment company.

Until Whoo Kid finally puts the DJ set up for good, he may still be heard on Shade 45’s G-Unit Radio show and seen in his own entertainment magazine, POW!.

plies is back

One of 2007's biggest rookie impressions came in the form of Florida rapper Plies. Certified gold by the RIAA, The Real Testament was weighted by the success of singles "Hypnotized" with Akon and "Shawty" with T-Pain.

Less than a year from the release of Testament, Plies is finishing up The Definition of Real, and the formula seemingly remains the same. With the already spinning "Bust It Baby Part 1" garnering attention, Plies and Atlantic Records revealed today that the sequel to the song, featuring Ne-Yo will be the next single, already getting spins in Florida.

The Atlantic/Slip-N-Slide artist also announced the formation of his label Big Gates Records, named after the label's co-owner, Plies' brother. The duo reportedly signed a new artist, which will be confirmed in the next several weeks. The rapper is currently on the cover of Don Diva magazine.

Notorious Movie?

The roles of Biggie, Tupac, Voletta Wallace and P. Diddy, or Puff Daddy as he was known during the era the film is set in, have finally been cast for the upcoming Notorious movie.



New York rapper Jamal 'Gravy' Woolard has been cast in the lead roll as the Notorious B.I.G. Gravy is famous for being shot in the ass outside of Hot 97 and then still completing his radio interview. Angela Basset will play the role of Biggie's mother, while Derek Luke will play Diddy and Anthony Mackie the late Tupac Shakur.

Mackie's first major film debut was as Papa Doc in Eminem's 8 Mile. It will be interesting to see how they portray Tupac, considering this is a movie about Biggie, and their rocky friendship.

I'd still like to James Avery aka Philip Banks cast in the roll of Suge Knight one day, for old times sake, because Uncle Phil was the shit!

Alicia Keys took back the #1 spot this week, in her off-again, on-again reign, weathering each week's new additions. Ms. Keys was joined by Rock outfits The Mars Volta and Bullet For My Valentine, who held #3 and #4 respectively, after The Juno Soundtrack. Keyshia Cole gained over 17% in sales since last week, bumping Chris Brown and getting a strong surge of Interscope energy. Lupe Fiasco fell from the Top 5 overall urban artists for the first week since his release. G.O.O.D. Music crooner John Legend joins the charts with his live album, closing out the caption with a #27 spot.

The Fat Joe, 50 Cent and Papoose beef triangle is showing no signs of slowing down yet as 50 Cent and his G-Unit crew prepare to release a new mixtape aimed at Joey Crack.

The upcoming mixtape, titled Elephant in the Sand, pokes fun at Fat Joe by showing pictures of Joe on the beach in his swimming trunks. The mixtape will be free for download on March 11th and features the recently leaked “Rider Pt 2” that features Young Buck, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo.

In the meanwhile, Papoose and Fat Joe continue to deliver two different sides of the scuffle but while Joe is looking to fight 50, Pap has accepted a one on one with Joe.

“The option is still open with me homie,” Papoose said on Kay Slay’s Shade45 show. “I’ll go right in his chin! Ping-pong-ping! Let’s do it!”

As he awaits trial on gun possession charges, T.I. is speaking out about his new album "Paper Trail."The rapper recently spoke to MTV.com from his home in suburban Atlanta where he is currently on house arrest."It’s a lot of bullsh— out right now," he told MTV News via phone from Atlanta. "I’m not gonna front. I feel it’s definitely about time for somebody to come back out and kick this thing back in gear. The rotation is suffering right now. I intend to do something about it. It’s just a matter of when." T.I. reveals that the album’s street single will be a song called "Let My Beat Pound."

"That’s gonna be a big record," Tip said. "It’s a different record. It’s a record I approached differently, and it don’t sound like a typical T.I. record. It’s basically about when you got your first car, one of the first things was to make sure your [sound] system was right. The love for the boomin’ system. G-Unit at WWE

It appears that the WWE is looking towards Hip Hop for a boost in ratings. 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg and R&B star John Legend are set to hit the ring with various different jobs at this year's Wrestlemania.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. and 50 Cent have a friendship that has allowed both to succeed with the help of the other. Now, the two will take on a large opponent as they face The Big Show at WWE's upcoming Wrestlemania XXIV. It is not yet known if 50 will actually participate in the match, but it seems that he will accompany Mayweather to the ring at the very least.

"We got a friendship," Mayweather told MTV recently. "We talk about business a little bit. We talked about it when Coca-Cola bought VitaminWater. He said, 'You didn't see what I just did?' [I said,] 'Of course I did. Congratulations. Now you have to take me out to eat.'"

According to reports, Mayweather will be paid $20 million for his appearance at Wrestlemania. No reports have been released as to how much 50 will make.

WWE has also enlisted the help of John Legend, who is set to kick off the event with a rendition of the "America the Beautiful."

Snoop Dogg will also join the WWE for an all-Diva fight called, "BunnyMania Lumberjack Match."

All of this goes down March 30, 2008 on pay-per-view.

Cam Talks

After releasing a home made video clip to YouTube warning rival 50 Cent that it was going to be a "hot summer," Cam went into exile. The Harlemite told radio personality Miss Info that around that time, his mother had several strokes, resulting in her being paralyzed on her left side. The rapper then apparently moved his mother to Florida and arranged for her rehabilitation and therapy.

Killa also said that he took a little time away to get his business in order. He said that he and his label, Asylum, were having differences but have since resolved them.

"We recently worked things out," Cam said. "We had a conversation with the lawyers and with Todd (Moscowitz), so now we're straight. I wasn't gonna drop the mixtape until that happened...."

Cam said that even though things were fine as far as his mother's health, he still staggered his return and instead opted to examine the way those around him behaved.

"Even when I had my mom situated, she had the help she needs, the physical therapy, everything was right-that was like a month ago-I still laid low, because when I come out it's gonna be done it right," he said. "But I just sat back and bugged out at how everyone else was acting. I heard all the rumors, mad felonious s--t, fake s--t. And I would tell n----s, my moms just had a stroke, and they'd be like 'Oh, ok, so are you still coming through?' Fam, what is wrong with you?"

"I ain't talked to nobody, but I kept hearing all these stories," he continued. "Cam was in a car crash. Cam was begging for a deal. Some hood DVD dudes were up on [140^th St] to try to find me. Folks were asking for interviews. I'm like Bigfoot, its crazy!"

Never one to not have new material on hand, the Dipset boss said that he is gearing up to drop a double mixtape, "Public Enemy #1," as a precursor to his next full-length effort, which is set to drop in either February or March of 2008. The mixtape, which will be available next week for free, is dropping the day after fellow crew member Jim Jones' mixtape. Though he says he's back, Cam says he still hasn't spoken to his longtime friend.

"I still haven't spoken to Jim," he said. "But Jim ran with me for over 10 yrs, he worked hard, and I wish him the best of luck. Everybody thinks I'm mad at Jim. Why am I mad? I told people for years that Jimmy was gonna be a star. So it's better on my resume...I wish him the best. The only thing is, him being with 50, I can't really run with that. Hang out with who you want to hang out...but me, I can't really do nothing like that."

The ever controversial rapper also said that he will address his previous beefs on the latest mixtape but will not dwell on his rivals.

"I make a comment but I keep it moving. On the first joint, I talk for like 6 minutes. I still get at 50. The Tru Life s--t. I clear that s--t up. And I also address the NYPD, the Intel squad...How they dragged me in during the whole Jay-Z and 50 Cent beef and tried to get me to talk about them....all that sh*t."

Best Of Both Worlds 2

The two previously joined forces on Lloyd's hit song "You," which helped propel his 2007 album Street Love to certified gold status.

In a recent interview with Rhapsody Lloyd shared news that the two will be joining forces again on his upcoming album, and while they were recording the new song he says the two talked of a possible joint album.

"So I come out the booth," Lloyd told Rhapsody of the studio experience. "Weezy go in and do about 38 bars. The beat cuts off and he's still rapping. He's just killing it and I'm saying to myself, 'Oh this dude is incredible. I gotta work with this dude for real.' And from there, we started our relationship. We've even talked about doing an album together and calling it Best of Young Worlds."

When reminded that Omarion and Bow Wow recently teamed on a similar concept, Lloyd was careful to distinguish a difference between Face Off and the potential Best of Young Worlds project.

"Lloyd and Lil' Wayne is a different kind of intensity from Bow Wow and Omarion," Lloyd said. "We appeal to a much older crowd, and we a little bit more hardcore with our style. But yeah, we definitely thinking about it."

Lloyd recently released the first single from his as yet untitled new album, "How We Do It In The A," which features Ludacris. Lloyd also mentioned collaborating with Snoop Dogg and Fabolous for another cut off the album, while Nelly joins him on a Polow Da Don-produced track.

Usher's younger brother, producer J-Lack, who tracked "Get It Shawty," the second single on Street Love, has also returned to help Lloyd's third effort; as have "You" songwriter/producers Jasper Cameron and Big Reese.

A release date for the new project has not been announced.

Tha End Is Near

It's no secret that Cam'ron and Jim Jones have beef, but recently, Juelz Santana spoke out about problems he's having with Cam too.

On Hot 97's Angie Martinez show, when the rapper was asked what the hold up was on releasing new material, Juelz pointed to the Dipset Don as the problem.

"Me and Cam gotta work some things out, bottom line," he said. "I came in the game when I was young right, so it's no reason for me - to have accomplished and did as much as I did - to be getting treated the same way as I was treated when I just came in."

Meanwhile, Jimmy's former hook-singing right hand man Max B is having it out with the Byrd Gang honcho.

After being heavily featured on Jimmy's sophomore release Harlem Diary, Max is dropping a new mixtape, "Million Dollar Baby 2," unofficially named "The Assassination of Jim Jones."

"That's what it's gonna do to him. The very first track is gonna just end his whole career up," Max B said in a ThisIs50.com interview. "Somebody with my talent and my skill level need to be up there with the upper echelon, so I'm trying to get away from that situation over there."

Now, 40 Cal has released the new track "Dipset is Ova" onto the net, in which he blames the camp's beef for ruining everyone's careers but Jim and Cam's.

"Dear Dipset the G's not eatin/ Somebody tell Cam and Jim to please stop beefin," 40 Cal rhymes. [Listen Below]

Dipset member Bezel chymes in, "Cam got money, Jim getting gravy/ Dipset is ova. This sh*t is crazy."

And instead of shouting out Dipset, the two claim Juelz' crew Skull Gang at the end of the track.

"Dipset was one of the most powerful movements out there [and] still is," said Bezel at the end of the track. "It would be nice if n*ggas would get back together but everybody gotta be their own man at the end of the day. So with that said, I really don't know what else to say except Skull Gang b*tch!"

DTP Re-Signed

Ludacris’ Disturbing Tha Peace imprint (DTP) has re-signed a long term distribution deal with Island Def Jam Music Group, effectively debunking rumors that Island Def Jam had dropped the Atlanta-based label.

Rumors began to circulate last week that DTP had been dropped by IDJ’s Chairman, Antonio “L.A.” Reid, after a showcase the label sponsored last week.

Today, that rumor was laid to rest when Ludacris, Chaka Zulu and Jeff Dixon announced a new long term distribution deal for DTP.

“The Atlanta Hip-Hop scene and the Dirty South movement in general owe more than they can ever repay to Chris,” Antonio “L.A.” Reid told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “Our friendship stretches back more than a decade and I never cease to be amazed at his imagination, creativity, and most of all his outrageous sense of humor.”

According to Reid, changing business conditions in the music industry means that both labels will be reviewing their respective rosters “to ensure that future opportunities and challenges are aggressively achieved.”

“Ludacris has built Disturbing Tha Peace into one of the iconic names in hip-hop, one that will remain an important part of the Island Def Jam family.”

Ludacris is currently working on his sixth album, titled Theater of The Mind.

According to Ludacris, the new album is the sum of all of his previous albums rolled into one release.

“It almost plays out like a movie, the whole album does,” Ludacris told AllHipHop.com. “You’re going to feel like you’re a part of it. Each song, it all blends itself together and it’s theatrical. Music is supposed to be emotional, you put yourself in the environment, you put yourself in the atmosphere, it’s kind of like that..”

The Game checked into jail Sunday night at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles, according to TMZ.com. The rapper is set to serve a 60-day jail sentence after pleading no contest to a felony charge of possession of a firearm in a school zone.
According to various reports, he'll be segregated from the general population..

The charge stems from an altercation at the Rita Walters Educational Learning Complex in South L.A.. Prosecutors allege Game pulled a gun from his car and threatened to shoot an opposing player in a basketball game.

Despite the no contest plead, Game maintained his innocence in a recent interview with Monsta Magazine.

"The crazy part about this is that I've had guns before in my life," Game told Monsta. "But this time, I didn't have a gun. And because one person said I had a gun and coaxed his homies into saying that I had a gun, I'm in a predicament where I'm asking, 'Do I want to spend another million dollars to fight this trial, so who knows what jury's gonna come in and say I'm guilty? Or do I want to save my money, go sit down for four months and accept this felony they're trying to give me for no reason.'"

The four year old daughter of Louisiana rapper Juvenile was fatally wounded after her seventeen year old brother, Anthony Tyrone Terrell Jr., allegedly gunned down his mother, Gwinnett County Sheriff's Deputy Joy Deleston, 39, and his two small sisters, Micaiah, 11, and Jelani, 4.

According to TMZ, Jelani was the daughter of the "Slow Motion" hit maker.

In 2003 Juvenile was arrested for abandonment of a dependent child after a DNA test determined he was the father.

Juvenile, real name, Terius Gray, nor his music label, Atlantic Records, could not be reached for comments.

You may be excused for forgetting this even went down because it surprisingly hasn't been mentioned in a while, but TI was arrested before the BET Hip-Hop Awards last October for allegedly sending his bodyguard to buy several machine guns from an undercover ATF agent; as well as silencers, which are illegal in the state of Georgia.

StreetHop.com has just received word that the 27 year old rapper has officially been offered a plea deal of 15 years with a minimum mandatory sentance of 13; which means that even with good behavior he wont see freedom until the year 2021.

A 15 year plea? Really? Fuck! If that's the plea, which I doubt he accepts, what's the full sentance? One has to wonder whether or not the silencers, which result in the bulk of the sentance, were thrown in as a "bonus" from the undercover ATF agent; they're nice like that.
